Super Bowl 2012 To Be Held in Indianapolis

First of all, congratulations to Green Bay Packers for winning the Super Bowl 2011 trophy after defeating Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-25 on Sunday night, February 6, 2011 at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Aaron Rodgers did a great job in turning the Green Bay Packers into champions once again. This was Green Bay's fourth Super Bowl title. The Packers won the first two Super Bowls with Vince Lombardi coaching Bart Starr, and they claimed another with Brett Favre in January 1997.

Having said that, let's look into next year's Super Bowl 2012. Super Bowl XLV will be held next year on February 6, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. This would be the first time that the Super Bowl is held in Indianapolis.

Super Bowl 2011 Winner

The National Football League (NFL) Championship game between the two champions of the 2011 NFL Playoffs is about to begin in just a few hours. Green Bay Packers wearing black NFL helmet gear from the NFC will face Pittsburgh Steelers of the AFC wearing yellow NFL helmet gear.

Both NFL champions will battle at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, North Texas to know which between the two of them is the best in this season of NFL football. Ben Roethlisberger will look for his third Super Bowl victory since 2005 and Aaron Rodgers is going for his first in just his third year as Green Bay's starting quarterback.

Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Gear: Pittsburgh Steelers will use a black helmet with their signature "Steelers" logo surrounded by by three astroids. The original meanings behind the astroids were, "Steel lightens your work, brightens your leisure, and widens your world."

Super Bowl 2011 Official TV Coverage: Super Bowl 2011 will be broadcasted by Fox Sports with commentator Joe Buck on play by play and Troy Aikman as the color commentator. The pre-game will be led by Curt Menefee, joined by Super Bowl winning analysts Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson, and Howie Long. For those Super Bowl 2011 fans who have purchased their Super Bowl 2011 tickets and are driving to the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, you should tune into The Ticket (1310 AM/104.1 FM) to receive up-to-the-minute traffic information directly from Arlington’s traffic operation.


The Ticket will air traffic messages every 20 minutes starting at 1 p.m. through the start of the game, and resume the same messaging for fans leaving the game at the end of the night. We advise Super Bowl 2011 fans who will be traveling to the  Dallas Cowboys Stadium to arrived early and be patient. They should also pre-purchase parking permits as they come with directions.
